My 10 years boundless corporate journey

In 2012, I got my first corporate job. See how time flies... I still remember how excited I was.

I remember starting with boundless enthusiasm. Little did I know that my first step as an administrative assistant at the Nigeria LNG (NLNG) Training Center in the HR Department would mark the beginning of a life-changing journey.

Throughout this decade-long professional journey working across Ghana and Nigeria, I have had the privilege of meeting incredible individuals, forging lifelong connections, and constantly challenging myself to grow.

The NLNG Training Center where I started was responsible for managing learning, development, and upskilling programs for the company. Surrounded by remarkable colleagues and abundant learning resources, I seized every opportunity to expand my knowledge and skills. At the time, I had recently completed my Advanced Diploma in Business Administration from City and Guilds UK, thanks to the Bonny Vocational Centre.

That initial work experience served as a catalyst for numerous achievements in my career. In August 2013, I made the difficult decision to leave NLNG and pursue further studies. It became evident that, in order to thrive in the corporate world, I needed to equip myself with additional knowledge.

I secured admission in one of Ghana’s premier technology Universities, Accra Institute of Technology and successfully completed my degree program in Information Technology.

Looking back, I am immensely grateful for the remarkable journey that has unfolded since then.

In 2015, while in school in Ghana, I got my second job as a Web Content Manager, which marked the beginning of an exhilarating ride.

Today, as a Public Relations and Communications Consultant, my extensive expertise encompasses various aspects of the corporate landscape. I have honed my skills in digital communication, corporate communications, stakeholder management, and radio broadcasting. With a diverse professional background spanning industries such as technology, digital services, non-governmental organizations, government entities, oil and gas, renewable energy, and the off-grid sector, I have provided invaluable media advisory services and implemented comprehensive communications strategies.

The conversation of how an IT guy turned a PR and Communication professional is one for another day. But I love what I do so much. Telling stories, and helping organizations rapidly increase their digital and media footprint. Managing reputation, brand image and utilizing strategic communications to drive business growth.

Reflecting on my journey thus far, I cannot help but feel an overwhelming sense of gratitude. Each step I took, and each challenge I embraced, has contributed to my growth and development. As I continue to navigate the corporate world, I am eager to embrace new opportunities, make a meaningful impact, and inspire others to pursue their own ambitions.

I wish for my story, one day, to serve as a testament to the possibilities within the corporate realm. As I look forward to the next chapter of my professional journey, I am excited to see where the future takes me, armed with the invaluable experiences and relationships I have cultivated along the way.
